Tässä kolumnissa haluaisin jakaa ajatuksiani keskusjärjestömme aluetyöstä kuvitteellisen partiolippukunta Murmeleiden näkökulmasta katsottuna.”

Omaan vankan lippukuntatoimijan taustan ja siksi ymmärränkin valtavan hyvin lippukuntien näkökulmia partion uudistuksiin ja siihen, millaisella ajatusmallilla useat lippukuntatoimijat toisinaan menevät eteenpäin partioarjessa.
Usein lippukunnissa ajatukset pyörivät arjen toiminnassa ja sen pyörittämisessä, jolloin mikä tahansa uusi asia saatetaan kokea nykytilaa uhkaavana ja johtajia kuormittavana. Tämä on ihmiselle hyvin luonnollinen reaktio, etenkin jos nykytilanteen koetaan olevan hyvä. Mutta minäpä väitän, että lippukuntamme voisivat toimia entistä paremmin ja niiden saama tuki voisi olla entistäkin laadukkaampaa.
Eräs suurimmista asioista, joka meidän tarvitsee saada muutettua, jotta saamme Suomen Partiolaisten aluetyön ja etenkin lippukuntien tukemisen toimimaan, on se, että meidän tarvitsee päästä eroon siitä syvään pinttyneestä asenteesta, että ”Ne siellä ÄsPeessä päätti tätä ja tota, no mutta me täällä lippukunta Murmeleissa tiedetään paremmin!”
Tässä asenteessa piileekin tämän kolikon kaksi puolta: Suomen Partiolaiset haluaa pystyä auttamaan ja tukemaan lippukuntiaan, mikä voi näyttäytyä kentälle turhana ”paapomisena”. Mutta kun sen ei tarvitsisi olla niin. Me voisimme yhdessä tehdä töitä sen eteen, jotta partio olisi entistäkin parempi harrastus. Lippukuntien saadessa tarvitsemaansa tukea, joka auttaa esimerkiksi partiolippukunta Murmeleita toimimaan omalla alueella entistäkin timanttisemmin, olisi partion tila koko Suomessa paljon paremmalla tolalla ja näkyisimme hienona ja houkuttelevana harrastuksena aivan kaikille lapsille ja nuorille.
Meidän pitää murtaa se ajatuksen tasolla oleva muuri, jossa keskusjärjestö ja lippukunnat kolahtavat vastakkain, lopettaa vastakkainasettelu ja päästä lopputulokseen, jossa SP:n tarjoama tuki pääsee perille, jotta lippukunnat voisivat entistä paremmin. Kun saamme yhteistyön kuntoon ja pääsemme eroon turhasta kyräilystä, olemme paremmassa pisteessä, kuin missä olemme tällä hetkellä.
